Leo van Wersch, Chairman
Leo is pharmacist and has a Masters degree of Law from the University of Leiden. He spent his entire career in the Pharma industry. Starting in the regulatory field he was over 30 years managing director of different pharmaceutical companies in Europe. The last 20 years as VP Europe of P&G Pharmac. Today he is active as Board member of companies in different fields.  

Emmanuelle Coutanceau, PhD

Emmanuelle joined Crédit Agricole Private Equity's Venture Capital team in April 2007. She holds a degree in Agronomic Engineering from the ENSAR in Rennes, a PhD in Microbiology from Paris VII University and a specialized postgraduate degree in Pharmaceutical Management from the Paris ESCP-EAP Business School. From 2003 to 2006, at Pasteur Institute, Emmanuelle Coutanceau managed a fundamental research project on the immunosuppressive properties of a bacterial toxin. Her work led to several international scientific publications. In Crédit Agricole Private Equity, she has been actively involved in several investments.

Raf Moons, PhD
Raf is Investment Director at Fortis Private Equity. Prior to joining Fortis Private Equity in 1999, he served as industrial advisor at the business development group of IMEC and as a scientific researcher at the K.U. Leuven. He holds a Ph.D. in Physics and an MBA, both from the K.U. Leuven. He is member of the Board of Directors of several high-tech spin-off companies and is actively involved in managing university-linked seed capital funds.  

Harm de Vries
Harm is General Partner at the Erasmus MC Biomedical Fund and two other early stage venture capital funds. Harm has worked for over 12 years in the venture capital industry and holds board positions at several Dutch life sciences companies.

Edward van Wezel
Edward is Managing Partner of BioGeneration Ventures since 2006. He holds a M.Sc in Biochemistry from the University of Utrecht and a M.Sc in Biochemical Engineering from the University of Delft. He has 15+ years industry experience. He was active as project manager and licensing manager in pharma (Chiron, Johnson & Johnson) and as CEO of several biotech start-ups in the Netherlands. 

Wilfried Dalemans, PhD
Wilfried is Chief Technical Officer at TiGenix, Belgium. He is responsible for the global technical operations of the company, encompassing coordination of product development and life-cycle in R&D and Industrialization. Before joining TiGenix, Wilfried held several senior management positions at GSK Biologicals, Belgium, and Transgène, France. Wilfried holds a PhD in Molecular Biology from the Universities of Hasselt and Leuven.
 

Debora Dumont, PhD
Debora joined LRM in 2010 as Investment Manager Life Sciences and serves as a Director on several boards within the LRM life sciences portfolio. She started her career in 2006 as a business developer at the Biomedical Research Institute of Hasselt University. As a liaison officer to the biotech industry, she managed collaborative research projects and was responsible for the institute's valorization strategy. In addition, she headed LifeTechLimburg, a cluster organization for the life sciences development in Belgian Limburg. Debora holds a PhD degree in biomedical sciences from Hasselt University and a Master degree in biological engineering from K.U. Leuven. In addition, she followed several biotech and management courses throughout her career.
