ChondroBOOST

ChondroBOOST is a drug discovery platform that combines several phenotypic assays for the identification and optimization of novel therapeutics for arthritic diseases. The effect of drug candidates on chondrogenesis, chondrocyte metabolism and homeostasis can be evaluated using cell and tissues from different sources e.g. chondrocytes, mensencymal stem cells and cartilage explants under OA-like conditions. The platform has been extensively validated through various industrial collaborations and in-house drug discovery programs.
