OsteoBLAST combines several in vitro techniques into a highly sophisticated and innovative research engine that will lead to new drug targets for a wide array of bone diseases including osteoporosis. The proprietary platform is based on culturing human osteoblasts or osteoblast specific cells. Various conditions mimicking in vivo bone differentiation are modelled through this system and are coupled to the latest genomics and proteomics approaches. The platform has generated a pre-clincal program and several new osteo-anabolic drug targets.
