Tolleiv Trimborn, CEO
Tolleiv has a combined commercial and scientific background. He holds a PhD in molecular biology from the Erasmus Medical Center, Rotterdam (NL) and was a post-doctoral fellow at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute at Stanford University, Palo Alto, (CA, US).Tolleiv joined Life Science Partners (LSP) and Kalobios in the bay area (US), before he held various positions at DNage. From 2008 onwards, he became co-founder and CEO at Therosteon.
Guido Maertens, Head of Finance
After Guido graduated his second master in business economics he joined First Dutch Capital (Amsterdam, NL) as a corporate finance consultant. Thereafter he worked as a business controller at Pharming where he got acquainted with biotech and life sciences. Next to his job as Head of Finance at Arcarios Guido works part-time as a business developer for the Radboud University Medical Centre in Nijmegen.
Gert De Wilde, Head of Discovery
Gert holds a PhD in biotechnology from the University of Gent (BE). At Tigenix he was actively involved in the spin-out of the TR-therapeutics business unit. Previously he was with the pharma division of Devgen NV where he held several positions. As a project leader he built up experience in drug discovery and, as head of biology, he was responsible for the management of the pharma biology team.
Marco Eijken, Head of Biology
Marco received a PhD from the Erasmus Medical Center, Rotterdam (NL) and worked as a postdoctoral fellow in the group of Hans van Leeuwen within the department of Internal Medicine of the Erasmus Medical Center. In 2008, Marco became co-founder and director technology development at Therosteon.
